Andrew Law

Andrew is the Chairman and CEO of Caxton, a large global macro hedge fund founded in New York in 1983. He joined Caxton in London nearly a decade ago, was appointed CIO globally in 2008, and to his current position effective 1st January 2012. He graduated from Sheffield University in 1987, with a First Class Honours Degree in Economics. Prior to Caxton he was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, as head of FICC proprietary trading in London. His other charitable interests include being a Regional Treasurer for the Lord’s Taverners, a Patron of the Hotcourses Foundation, a supporter of Policy Exchange, and his own Charitable Foundation established in 2011.
