Nita is an Associate Director in the International Development team. Her projects have spanned a range of sectors (agriculture, health, education, early childhood development) and countries (Uganda, Swaziland, Cameroon, Afghanistan, among others). Previously, she worked in Global Investment Research at Goldman Sachs, where she covered European integrated oil companies and analysed trends in the oil & gas industry globally. From 2007-2008, she worked in private sector development in Afghanistan as a consultant with Building Markets (formerly Peace Dividend Trust), where she advised international buyers and Afghan suppliers on local procurement solutions. Nita began her career at the Council on Foreign Relations, a foreign policy think tank based in New York. She holds an MPhil in Economic & Social History from Oxford University, and a BA in Political Science from Barnard College, Columbia University.
