Robin is a Consultant to Social finance’s Impact Incubator which partners with foundations to develop ‘game changing’ solutions to entrenched social problems. He is leading a project to deliver enhanced support to young people leaving the UK care system. He joined Social Finance in 2016.
Prior to Social Finance Robin was a 15-year Partner from KPMG’s Global Strategy Team. He worked on public policy assignments across Department for Education, Home Office, and MOD. He developed a capability measuring and remediating illicit trade in consumer products and pharmaceuticals, recognised by government (OECD, WCO) and industry. Robin also ran the European deal strategy capability in Amsterdam and London. As Trustee of the KPMG Foundation Robin shaped the funding strategy of not-for-profit challenges in education, children-in-care and vulnerable children. Robin also consults to the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime on combatting illegal trade and crime in Africa.
He started his career with 9 years in MoD, leaving as a Principal, leading teams protecting British interests from Middle-Eastern threats. Robin holds a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Liverpool and holds the Associateship qualification from the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
