Marie Curie: Public attitudes to death, dying and bereavement in the UK re-visited: 2023 survey

Marie Curie, the UK’s leading end of life care charity, commissioned this survey into public attitudes to death, dying and bereavement in the UK in 2023. The findings informed our thiking on a number of projects including the Marie Curie Responsive Emergency Assessment and Community Team (REACT) a local palliative care team which offers specialist care and support for people in the Bradford area. Marie Curie partnered with Social Finance, Macmillan Cancer Support, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Better Society Capital and The National Lottery Community Fund’s Commissioning Better Outcomes Programme to develop and launch the innovative service which has not been sustained.
