Kate joined Social Finance in 2018, and works in the International team supporting partners using outcomes based approaches in Latin America. She has also worked on projects addressing school exclusions in the UK and improving access to legal advice.
Prior to Social Finance she spent five years with Fauna & Flora International (FFI), an environmental conservation charity. She led FFI’s marine programme in Cambodia for three years, where she oversaw the establishment of Cambodia’s first Marine Protected Area, a project which seeks to support community fishing groups, alongside the sustainable management of the area and the growing tourism around it.
She has leveraged funds and capacity building opportunities for numerous initiatives across South East Asia, including Myanmar and Indonesia. She holds a M.S.c in Conservation from Imperial College London and a BA in Biology from the University of Oxford.
