Kendall is a Health Advisor at Social Finance, working across the Care and Wellbeing Fund and the Health and Social Care practice advisory team. He works with NHS commissioners and providers of primary and community care to develop new care models and population health systems. Kendall also supports the Reconnections Social Impact Bond which aims to reduce loneliness and isolation for older people in Worcestershire.

Prior to joining in 2016, Kendall was a senior manager at NHS England, leading development of their commissioning strategy, and supporting local areas developing accountable care models. He previously spent several years at the Department of Health, working across a variety of areas with a focus on innovation and reform of the health and care system.

Kendall has also spent time working at a community development NGO in rural Sri Lanka and a European Venture Capital firm. He holds an MSc in Global Health and Development from UCL and a BSc in Biological Sciences (Hons Pharmacology) from The University of Edinburgh
