Olly Joined Social Finance in 2018. He leads Social Finance’s Data and Insights capability, using data and technology to better understand people’s needs and deliver more impactful services.
Before joining Social Finance, Olly was a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman and an academic at UCL. At Oliver Wyman he worked with organisations across the private, public and charitable sectors to use data and deliver more effective strategy. At UCL he used mathematical models and computing to better understand and simulate currents in the ocean that impact on climate. He also worked for the government, advising on the UK’s £6BN science budget at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
Olly holds a PhD from UCL and a first class masters from Oxford, both in mathematics.
