Following 20 years investing in private equity with CVC Capital Partners, Tony spent ten years as a non-executive director/chairman of a number of international companies. Previously he was a vice president of Citicorp dealing with multinational corporations and his early career was with Rolls Royce as an aeronautical engineer.
Tony recently retired as a trustee of Teens and Toddlers, an innovative charity focused on improving the life chances of disadvantaged children and an early adopter of social impact bonds. He is also a social investor in Kenya and Uganda and a member of the entrepreneurship assessment panel at Imperial College Business school.
Tony has an MSc in Operational Research and Management Science and a BSc (Eng) in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, London, where he currently mentors technology startups. He is a Liveryman of the Honourable Company of Air Pilots.
