Becky Preece

By combining strategic thinking, quality assurance and learner-centred design, Becky creates learning experiences and systems that enable people, services and programmes to thrive at scale.

Becky joined Social Finance in May 2026 as Interim Learning & Development Manager and has since moved into the role on a permanent basis. Becky is an experienced education and workforce development leader with over 25 years’ experience across further education colleges, training providers and adult learning settings. 

Throughout her career, she has successfully led the design, delivery and quality assurance of a wide range of learning programmes, including apprenticeships, adult learning provision, workforce development programmes and Essential Skills qualifications. 

One of Becky’s most significant achievements since joining the organisation has been leading the work to bring the Level 3 Certificate in IPS delivery in-house. This has involved developing the operational framework, resources, assessment strategy and quality assurance processes required to establish Social Finance as a high-quality training provider. 

Becky is currently leading the implementation of delivery, assessment and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) systems, ensuring the qualification is fully operational and launch-ready for January 2027.

Becky is also a serving Board Member of Cardiff Academy, providing expert advice and guidance on curriculum, quality and compliance.
