Carina Thomas
Carina is Social Finance’s IPS Grow Workforce Lead for the Midlands, where she leads recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives to expand and strengthen the IPS workforce across the region. With a background in HR and recruitment, she brings expertise in stakeholder engagement, workforce development, and delivering impactful training.
Carina joined Social Finance in May 2025 as the IPS Grow Workforce Lead for the Midlands, where she leads recruitment, onboarding, and training to expand and strengthen the IPS workforce. She brings over a decade of experience in HR, recruitment, and workforce development, with a strong focus on inclusive hiring, stakeholder engagement, and adult learning.
Her previous work includes designing innovative induction programmes, improving hiring efficiency, and leading organisational development projects that enhanced workforce capability and diversity. Carina is CIPD Level 5 qualified and passionate about creating equitable pathways into employment and supporting services to build confident, high-performing teams.
