Ewa Kalend

Ewa is the IPS Grow Lead for the Southwest, where she works with teams across the region to strengthen IPS delivery and improve employment outcomes for people living with severe mental illness. She brings over 15 years of experience in health and social care, alongside a varied background that includes working in local government, leading HR functions, and holding both frontline and managerial roles within IPS services.

With a master’s degree in Public Law and Political Science and a Level 7 advanced coaching qualification, Ewa combines a strong understanding of public systems with a practical, people‑focused approach. She is passionate about helping services build the confidence, capability, and quality needed to support people into meaningful, sustained employment—and she especially enjoys working alongside practitioners and leaders to make that happen across the Southwest.
