Helen Ramkhelawon

Helen oversees Drug & Alcohol Teams working closely with DHSC (OHID) Team and is the IPS Grow lead for some selective teams to support people that have been provided structured drug & alcohol treatment find meaningful employment.

Helen joined Social Finance in May 2026 and will have a dual role with IPS Grow and OHID (Drug & Alcohol Teams). 

She supports the Drug & Alcohol teams by having regular monthly check ins to discuss workforce/​recruitment, performance & data issues, and any areas they may need support. She attends the teams steering groups and feed in any IPS Grow or OHID updates and support them through their actions plans following GSA or Fidelity Reviews.

Before joining Social Finance, Helen previously worked as the IPS SMI Regional Lead for NHS England in the East of England region for 6 years and worked in the NHS for 20 years with previous experience in Mental Health and Public Health. 

Whilst working as the IPS Regional Lead, Helen was involved in creating the self-assessment tool for SMI providers in collaboration with IPS Grow, lead the East of England region to achieve the highest access across the country and embedded strong integration with key stakeholders across organisations.
