Holly Newton

Holly joined Social Finance in 2024 as an IPS Grow Regional Lead for London.

Holly previously worked within the criminal justice system working for a charity providing support for individuals with substance use issues. Holly has worked in the Probation Service as a Probation Service Officer, supporting both prolific offenders and individuals with mental health needs to reduce reoffending. Holly later contributed to the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) London Gang Exit strategy, focusing on the wellbeing and mental health of both victims and perpetrators of gang-related violence.

Over the past seven years, Holly has specialised in supported employment, including four years as an IPS Team Leader for a service supporting individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

In her current role as Regional Lead, Holly supports IPS services across London by conducting Fidelity Reviews, Guided Self-Assessments, and delivering tailored technical support. Her work focuses on improving service delivery and outcomes for clients, helping services to enhance both performance and impact.
