Shahrukh Mubashir

Shahrukh joined Social Finance in 2025 having worked in a variety of data oriented roles across multiple sectors — such as higher education, charities and think tanks as well as the commercial sector.
He has been at the forefront of pioneering efforts in all his roles — from helping to set up a Research Culture practice at Queen Mary University to analysing global segmentation data at Xero to formulating the digital retention policy for the Widening Participation team at LSE.
He believes in using his skills and experience for social good and has endeavoured to balance the technical with the human throughout his career. While he is a keen problem solver with an interest in decoding complex societal issues, he likes to make connections and facilitate transfer of knowledge and ideas across operational silos. In that, he identifies with the ethos of Social Finance and hopes to nurture his curiosity and empathy in this role.
