Susan McDonald
Susan McDonald is a Director at Social Finance and co-leads our work in Housing and Homelessness with a particular focus on improving housing affordability and quality, and stability and health, through partnership building and cross-sector collaboration.
Susan McDonald leads our housing and homelessness practice and has led engagements for Social Finance since 2018.
Her experience spans advising on designing and funding new initiatives to tackle housing challenges; improving outcomes from existing services; and working with the private rented sector to help meet demand. She is interested in spotting and enabling partnerships and collaborations, because she believes that’s where there’s greatest potential for positive impact on the housing challenges of today.
She joined Social Finance after 11 years in the financial services sector, primarily as an investment manager at Aberdeen Asset Management. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
