His recent experience includes the design of a DIB for employment outcomes in Ethiopia, research into decision-making within Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCM) and supporting our strategic partnership with the Gates Foundation’s Innovative Finance Investments (IFI) team.
Prior to joining Social Finance, he worked on financial sector development, both at Oxford Policy Management (OPM) and as an independent consultant, was an Economist / ODI Fellow for the Bank of South Sudan, and an Analyst in the Equity Capital Markets team at Goldman Sachs International. He managed several partnerships with Financial Services Providers (FSPs) in Sub-Saharan Africa to enhance data capabilities and sustainably enhance financial inclusion, has advised on the Gates Foundation’s Financial Services for the Poor Strategy for East Africa, worked on the proposed realignment of the exchange rate in South Sudan in 2013 and was involved in several high-profile equity offerings in the EMEA region after the 2008 financial crisis.
