Jessica joined Social Finance in 2018 and works across the Health & Social Care and International/Advisory teams. To date, she has worked on investments into a community nursing start-up and a large-scale primary practice for the Care & Wellbeing Fund, and on scoping and strategy for the Education Outcomes Fund in Ghana. Jessica joined Social Finance from strategy consulting firm Parthenon-EY, where she worked on corporate strategy and commercial due diligence projects across their education, consumer and business services practices, for both global and domestic clients. Jessica also helped establish and lead Parthenon’s pro-bono team, including engagements for New Schools Network, Future First and start-up social enterprise The Difference. Prior to joining Parthenon, Jessica taught Citizenship for two years at a secondary school in West London as part of Teach First, and spent a year in Beijing learning Mandarin. Jessica speaks French and holds a First in Philosophy and French from Oxford University and an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from the LSE.
