Ivjyot joined Social Finance in 2022 and works at the intersection of impact investing, evaluation, and public policy. He has developed expertise in designing outcomes-based contracts, building financial models, and leading large-scale research projects that inform both policy and practice.

At Social Finance, Ivjyot led the research for UK’s impact investing market sizing study for the Impact Investing Institute, a flagship piece of work mapping the scale and nature of the UK’s £76.8bn impact investing market. He supported the Home Office in designing and financially modelling a social outcomes contract to improve refugee transitions and contributed to the Mental Health and Employment Partnership (MHEP), structuring and managing outcomes-based investments for Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in London and Shropshire.

Beyond project delivery, Ivjyot has published research on the potential of social investment to advance outcomes-based financing in India for the Government Outcomes Lab at Oxford and has written on changing global learning demographics for FE Week. He was invited to speak at the City of London Skills Conference 2023, where he shared insights on the evolving education and skills landscape.

Alongside his project work, Ivjyot writes a monthly LinkedIn newsletter, What’s Your Outcome?, which explores trends, ideas, and innovations in social investment and outcomes-based approaches for a small but growing audience.

Ivjyot holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the London School of Economics and a BTech in Civil Engineering from SRM University. He identifies most strongly with the social investing community of practice, where he brings a focus on evidence, financial rigour, and systems thinking to solving complex social challenges.
