Neil Jeffery is a member of the Social Finance Board. From 2014 to 22, he was Chief Executive of Water & Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP), a global social enterprise advancing water and sanitation services for the low-income customer segment in emerging markets. During his tenure, the business created services to improve the lives of more than 30 million low-income urban residents as a contribution to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals.
Neil has previously led social enterprises delivering low-income services in the energy and agricultural sectors.
He spent the first two decades of his career developing international policy and advocacy in Washington DC and Latin America. He is a published author with the US Institute for Peace and Cranfield University.
